EXPANDING ACCESS TO WORLD-CLASS CARE

Meeting Community Needs

The state of Utah is experiencing a major rise in population, and Vineyard, Utah, is one of the fastest growing areas in the United States. The Huntsman Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center in Vineyard creates a rare opportunity to co-design the cancer center in this beautiful community near Utah Lake.

This state-of-the-art, 272,000-square-foot facility includes a five-story clinical care building and a three-story research building. The buildings are connected by a community engagement and education space that will serve as a communication and innovation hub for research, education, and community participation.

This facility is “Phase 1A†of the project—the first of what is anticipated to be several phases at the site. Phase 1B is anticipated to follow shortly thereafter and will bring inpatient care, a surgical center, and other resources. Planning for future services and facilities will be informed by patient and community needs.
