Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵy Fats

By replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats, you can help lower your bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels and provide essential nutrients your body needs.

Here are four foods that are high in unsaturated fats:

  1. Fish: Stick to fatty or oily fish to get omega-3 fatty acids.
  2. Nuts: Unsalted nuts and seeds can help provide good fats, energy, protein and fiber for your diet.
  3. Avocado: Avocados provide healthy fats, fiber and essential vitamins and minerals.
  4. Oils: Substitute cooking and dressing oils with choices that are lower in saturated fat.
