Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ of Utah Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Care will officially open its new Farmington Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Center on Tuesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. The 136,000-square-foot facility, located at 165 N. Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Avenue, offers primary, specialty and urgent care. Additional services include Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ care, radiology, an optical shop, a pharmacy and access to Huntsman Cancer Institute and Moran Eye Center.
"The Farmington Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Center is now our 12th clinic along the Wasatch Front," said Gordon Crabtree, C.P.A., M.B.A., chief executive officer of Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ of Utah Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Care Hospitals and Clinics. "This new facility helps support our mission of allowing our medical students to train within our communities. We look forward to offering patients everything from primary and urgent care to ophthalmology, cardiology, reproductive medicine and other specialties. We're committed to helping the people of Farmington maintain the healthy and active lifestyles that are so much a part of living in this wonderful area."
The temporary location of Farmington Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Center, 291 S. 200 West, which was operated for just under a year and a half as the new facility was being built, will become a Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Neuropsychiatric Institute Behavioral Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Clinic and will open Nov. 14. Centerville Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Center will continue to provide both family medicine and urgent care.
More than 60 providers and 150 staff will work at Farmington Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Center. UUHC began planning the project in summer of 2014, and groundbreaking took place in October, 2014.
Primary care hours at Farmington Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Center run 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. Urgent care is open seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The facility's phone number is 801-213-3200.
